ello, my name is Pamela Holl Hunt, and here is a little bit about myself:

     It seems I had always been looking for answers to questions like, “Who am I?” and “What am I doing here?” In 1965, while going to art college in London, England, I thought I may find the answers in drugs. As a result, I got lost in hippieland and remained there for 10 years. I had almost given up when in 1975 I saw this sign on the sidewalk, “Free Personality Test.” Curious, I walked into the building to do the test. I still, thankfully, had not lost hope that I would one day find the answers I was looking for.

     It was all too true for me what my answers showed on that test; namely that I was “nervous, dispersed and unhappy” and a lot of other not-so-good things. I also knew that I couldn’t last much longer like that and had to change something. So I decided to do the Communication Course. Very soon after that while doing the Communication Course I found the answers that I had been looking for all that time. And as soon as I got those; it was like, “OK now, where’s the rest?”

     Needless to say I haven’t been nervous, dispersed or unhappy for the past twenty odd years. Since that I have done many courses and I continually refer to L. Ron Hubbard’s writings and tapes, for in them I can find answers to the problems I come up against in my life. One thing I know for sure is that without this knowledge, I would have stopped painting years ago. (In fact I would have stopped everything as I know it saved my life.)

     I like to paint in a variety of different ways and with a variety of media. A few years ago I started painting a series of portraits of artists; such as John Lennon and Marilyn Monroe; who had unfortunate run-ins with what I consider to be the scourge of the planet-psychologists and psychiatrists - with their idea that we are nothing but animals and that given the right chemical or lobotomy, we will salivate on command.

     They are canvases 3’x4’ or much larger that are painted in acrylic washes and splashes and with pieces of material and such, collaged onto the surface to create the image. Many of them have sold and many have been commissioned. This is just one of the many different styles I can create in.

     Also my husband and I have enjoyed a wonderful life together for over 2 decades now. I know this would not have been possible had I not walked in and done that Personality Test.
